It is recommended to book your event as early in advance as possible to ensure availability. To secure the date a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the event is due at the time of scheduling. Although 30% of the total order is the general standard retainer amount, certain large-scale events may require a 50% retainer. The remaining balance must be paid at least 72 hours prior to the event date. If your picnic is booked within 7 days of your event, full payment is required at the time of booking. Item description

Beautifully Charcuterie operates as a virtual business. We don’t have a physical storefront; instead, we prepare our products in the kitchen of Rashida Sawyer Bakery.
PICK-UP your order at the Rashida Sawyer Bakery, located at 110 West Green Street, downtown Ithaca. It is important for you to please arrive at the time you are expected. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please note that we do not offer full refunds. As a small business, we have limited cash reserves, and once a booking is made, expenses are incurred immediately. Many of our products are perishable or tailored specifically for your event. Additionally, our ability to provide services to other clients is affected by our commitment to you.
While full refunds are very rare and only granted under specific circumstances, we do offer credits and discounts for future services at the CEO's discretion. Please be aware that cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, will not qualify for credits or discounts. Thank you for your understanding!

Tables: The customer agrees to provide and set up a clean table, in order to prepare a surface for us to arrange the food.
Access to Venue: We will need access to the space 2-3 hours prior to the start of the event to set you the charcuterie.
Grazing Table Food: At Beautifully Charcuterie, we focus exclusively on creating stunning grazing tables. We don’t bake, cook, or prepare sandwiches or baked goods ourselves, but we’re happy to incorporate items from other vendors into your arrangement. *Please note that we are not party planners; customers are responsible for contacting, arranging, and paying for any outside vendors.
Set-up fee explication: If the table you are ordering requires additional set-up, due to decor, other vendors, or very large quantities of food (200 guests or more) an additional fee of $75 will be charged.
(~Coming Soon~) Tablescape Rentals: Settings for up to 20 guests. Décor for Gazing Tables also falls under this category. Rental fees vary. A retrieval fee of $20 will be charged if Beautifully Charcuterie needs to retrieve the items. Customer has the option to return the rented items to the Rashida Sawyer Bakery within 3 business days between 9am and 7pm.

Payment Methods: Payments are expected in advance. Gratuity is appreciated and can be paid at time of payment or when the picnic is complete (standard rate is 18%-20% Thank You!). Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal and cash (exact change) are accepted methods of payment.
Sizes and Customization: There are no ‘in-between’ sizes. Please choose the charcuterie options that fit your party best. Customizations are permitted for any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Politics/Causes: Beautifully Charcuterie does not promote or participate in any pickets, stand-ins, strikes, etc. our services are not intended to fulfil individual or group political agendas.
Gift Cards: We no longer offer gift cards.

If Picnicing at a State Park, the park will charge $9 per vehicle. You must have this fee ready, by cash or card; it is not included in your picnic pricing.
We’ll deliver and set up your picnic before you and your guests arrive. Once everything is ready, we’ll step away, allowing you to fully enjoy your experience for the reserved time. You’ll be responsible for the items during the standard 2-hour picnic, as well as any additional time purchased. After your picnic, we’ll return for cleanup.
*If you decide to end your picnic sooner than the reservation end time- please contact 607-262-6889 and allow 20 minutes for site arrival.

Weather conditions are a major factor in our planning and preparation. If poor weather is unavoidable, you will receive credit towards another picnic and we can reschedule for a preferred time. *Poor weather for the purposes of this service includes long periods of light rain day of, heavy rain day of, multiple days of rain resulting in muddy grounds, thunderstorms at scheduled event time, severe weather advisories, warnings or watches, flooding, temperatures above 90 degrees, AQI above 100. We reserve the right to postpose and will honor the request by the client to reschedule for the above-mentioned reasons. Bad weather that occurs during the picnic does not constitute for a refund or re-schedule. Customers are not responsible for damaged picnic items due to weather.

Picnics can be rescheduled up to two (2) times by either party (BC will only reschedule in the case of an emergency, extremely rare, or bad weather). A partial refund MAY be given per the discretion of the business owner after 2 rescheduling efforts have failed.

We do not offer full refunds. We are a small business without a large cash reserve. As soon as a booking occurs, things are set into motion that result in funds being used. Some items purchased are perishable and/or specific to your event. And other times our services cannot be provided to other clients due to the event you are planning for. Therefore, full refunds are extremely rare. We do offer a credit and/or discounts towards future services, per the owner’s discretion. Food: Customers are encouraged to add charcuterie to a picnic. Customers can also plan catering of their choice for the picnic (bring food, door dash, etc). Beautifully Charcuterie does not assist with the catering coordination or process with vender except for Rashida Sawyer Bakery. Customers can order a cake from the Rashida Sawyer Bakery Website and ask for the delivery pr pickup of bother services to be coordinated together. Rashidasawyer.com
Damage : The cost of any broken or missing picnic item with a value higher of $12 or more will be the customers responsibility to re-pay.
Items left behind: Can be mailed to you if you provide your mailing address and pay for the delivery and additional fee of $7.25
Alcohol and other beverages: We do not have a license to provide alcohol. We also do not provide drinks for catering.
Luxury Picnicing includes bottled or sparking water per person.

Picnic Length: Booking additional time for your 2 hrs. picnic may not always be an option depending on park hrs. and other scheduled picnics, etc. This is especially true if you request the extension during your picnic. Please think ahead to determine if you will need more than 2 hrs.
